What's in a Maid Shop?

Maid Cafes' originally started at Japan due to the hits of Cosplay and Anime. In those cafes, waitresses dressed themselves in maid costumes and act as servants and treat customers as masters rather than an ordinary patron. Due to its popularity, it also expanded overseas like countries such as South Korea, China, Taiwan, United States, Canada, Australia, Hungary, Czech Republic, France and even Mexico.

Most maid cafés offer menus similar to those of more typical cafés. Customers can order coffee, other beverages, and a wide variety of desserts. That's why in the Philippines, we bring SWEETBOX as the first Maid Dessert Shop in Town plus Butler!

Feel free to come and join with us to experience how we're treating you as our special guests.

How to be a Master?

A butler is like your typical maid cafe, except instead of girls in maid outfits there are men in butler uniforms waiting at your call. Butler cafes are a fairly new trend back their at Japan.

You can be a princess for a day! Try Philipines' Sweetbox! The basic concept of a butler is that you are extraordinarily wealthy and you’re returning to your mansion for dinner/afternoon coffee. The butlers great you with ”Welcome home, my lady!” and take your coat and carry your bag to your table and make small talk with you and serve you tea and generally make you feel like a fantastic person.

In maid cafes, typical manga-style maids serve tea and cakes. When a customer enters the café, the maids typically give a flattering greeting such as "Welcome home, Master" in order to play the role of a house servant. Unlike "ordinary" cafés, maids serve customers as if they were their masters.

The purpose of the maid cafés and their service is to make customers feel at home and relaxed. Although exemplary customer service is typical of the Philippines, maid cafés take special care to pamper their patrons.

That's why here at the Philippines, we'll gonna show how to be different and unique that are among the typical restaurants, cafes and shops. But are serving Filipino desserts that its ambiance is "Feel at Home".

Hurry! come and visit us at G/F Victoria Towers Quezon City to check how fun is it!
